Pixie had the tiniest bit of white on her chest when I got her, but it seems to have disappeared.
I'm fairly certain at going on 6 months, she's going to be a silk coat, and between 3-5 months her coat was rather thin and sparse. It still is for that matter, especially around her rump. This is where she has the greatest amount of baby coat lost.
On her back, there is clearly a line from baby coat to adult coat. The new fur is coming in silver and has a metallic sheen to it and is flatter. the baby coat is not only dull black, but poofy.
She always looks a bit disheveled, because of the poofy baby coat scraggling everywhere, and the sleeker adult coat hiding underneath. |
