no one told me about REM sleep and that my princess would almost look like she was having a seizure when i brought her home and her eyes would roll back into her head with the whites showing. i thought she was dying and she was just sleeping the vet said. oh the things you learn!
and two years later i'm still occasionally cleaning up poop and pee and butts get cleaned and when they are sick it's a mess and they just can't help it. poor dears.
and no one tells you how much love you have for those tiny faces with the dark eyes when they kiss and snuggle and hug on you. |
