So, we got Gizmo's bloodwork back-for the second time- and everything was normal!!!

The vet recommended that he needs to slowly transition to non-prescription dog food. He recommendation is that we use the w/d as well since wet food can have a tendency to be higher in fat, and SD Healthy Advantage.

I'll probably get flack for keeping Gizmo on SD, but he seems to do really well on it, and I'm not going to change.

With regards to his diagnosis, the vet doesn't even think he had pancreatitis, she thinks it was a GI upset. If it was pancreatitis, she believes it was a very mild case since the test came back negative, and his lipase levels were not off the charts.

I'm so relieved. It's so, so nice to hear good news once in awhile! Thanks so much for everyone's prayers and advice!
