the first time my little one did this I thought she was choking too...both my girls have allergies...Sadie, the 6 yr old, does this more frequently than Lillie, 5yr old. I pick them up, walk around the house ,gently run their neck area, and talk quietly to them..this usually works for them..someone on here said to blow into their face like you are trying to blow out a candle. This didn't work for Sadie. Maybe the face blowing will work for your little one...I HATE it when this happens to them...they have such a frightened look in their eyes...
