Thank you. Well I know they sell bird netting, you can put the bird netting on the top so birds can not go in there!! Let me know if you have any questions! We bought our dog run from Home Depot, I believe it was @270$ We are going to get a real doggy door, for now we just cut a hole in the screen and leave the door open. When I am gone at work or running errands he stays in his play pen.. Until we get a real doggy door that's how it has to be!
