I think RC is not a bad food, but I do feel it's horribly over-priced. I am always baffled when I see little 2.5lb bags for, like, $20. If it's all your dog does well on, or if you need it medically, or if you just don't mind paying huge price tags, then I say go for it
But I do think it's over priced for what it is. There are plenty of comparable grain inclusive foods on the market with very similar ingredients that I think most dogs would do just as well on. I do think RC is better than Iams, IMO.
I am currently feeding Natural Balance (pay around $13 for a 5lb bag). Been very pleased with it, as I needed a food a bit lower in fat and this one fit the bill.
