Sorry to hear that, as I am now an expert with broken front legs. My guy Basil broke each front leg, between the wrist and elbow. He needed a Plate and screws, and was in a splint for 6 weeks, and then no running or jumping for another 6 weeks. The one he broke back in March healed perfectly, and the one he broke in Sept is now out of the splint, and healing great. No limping, no pain. I guess the bone your dog broke is thicker, but still surprised no splint or cast. As far as the turning, I have no ida, but wish you guys the best.
