Love We found them!!!

Sorry I'm so late in updating, but it's been a pretty hectic day, and I'm just now getting to a computer. But it's a happy update, so it was worth waiting for! So, I went this morning and picked the little one up from my neighbor's house and went to have her scanned at my vet's office. She was such a little sweetheart, and cuddled in my lap the whole way. Unfortunately, she was not chipped, which was a little disheartening, nor did the vet recognize her. So she and I then made the rounds to the groomers (as she looked as though she had been recently groomed.) We went to the only two I know of in town but had no luck with either of them (one didn't recognize her, the other was closed.) Well, I was going to check with a couple more vets I know of, then check with the local pound, but I spoke with my neighbor (she'd kept her the night before after another neighbor of ours found her yesterday), and she said that she thought we'd better get started signing the area (she had printed out fliers while I was running the little princess around) because the vets weren't going anywhere, but the sooner we got the signs up, the better. So we met up at her house and started signing the neighborhood. Well, wouldn't you know, we had barely been out thirty minutes when my neighbor got a call from a lady who had seen our signs!!! She described the little girl (who we found out was named Bella) perfectly (little canine tooth sticking out and all), and said that she had been out looking for her all last night and early this morning, and was out knocking on doors in different sub-divisions when she saw the signs. It turns out she only lives two sub-divisions down from us! My neighbor said that both she and the lady cried when Bella was returned home (I didn't go to drop her off because I'd been signing in a different part of town, but I WISH I had) and that Bella was so ecstatic to see her mommy! My neighbor said her little nub was just a'waggin 90 mph, and that it was so obvious that the little girl was loved! I'm getting teary-eyed thinking about it. Anyway, I'm just so glad that we were able to find this little baby's home, and that tonight she is back where she belongs! I just love happy endings!!!
