I agree it seems to me that she is just waiting by the gate for you to get home!! With our girls we always tried to put pee pads down when they choose, if they kept having accidents in one part of the room we would put a pee pad down and that solved it, over time they learned to just go to that area and so now we only have two pee pads down!! I am not sure I would crate train her with it being almost 12 hours, but maybe you could find someone to come and walk her once or twice a day to give her a break and some attention!!
