Different dogs come in at different times. I've heard them come in as young as 5 months and as old as 14 months for their first time.
Contrary to popular belief, I believe that yorkie females do mark their area. Possible that she is doing this...especially if she swollen...but you'd definitely be able to tell for sure if she is indeed in heat...there's no mistaking the size of it. Maybe she's just starting the changes. |
