Riley's first vet didn't either..... He went end of July... they barely did anything except give shots... took him back in November to get neutered.... and then he had some environmental allergies in May the following year..... I did end up taking him to a new vet for his first annual exam whom I really liked. He was given 2-shots and looked over...and that was it. Not sure what you are expecting ....but this was My experience. I think when they start getting to about 7-years or older, they start really doing blood work, etc. But before then... they don't unless you ask them to...or unless they are told there is anything Odd going on. Otherwise, they are considered young and helathy....?!?!?!
