I hold Joey's bullysticks for him and throw them away when they are about 2 inches long. If you break a biscuit up, you might encourage them to swallow it whole rather than chewing on it, and the idea of cleaning their teeth is that they are gnawing and chewing on something. Anyway, I’m glad everything turned out okay, but you might want to find a chewing stick that is made for their size, and of course, always supervise. |
