My Roxi had the same problem, and she was also rubbing the fur off of her snout. After MUCH research I found that 100% pure extra virgin coconut oil cured her. I give her 1 teaspoon a day either off of the spoon (they love it) or I put it on her food. I have been doing this for 2 months and she has totally stopped chewing her feet/nails and rubbing her snout on the carpet. Google the benefits of coconut oil for dogs, there's a lot of information, and apparently it's good for humans too....Good Luck!
