Max had his annual exam this week and the vet called yesterday telling me that I have a very healthy giant Yorkie!
Max has been on phenobarbital for epilepsy for a year now and I've been very concerned about his liver levels since day one. About 4 months ago I started him on Denamarin liver supplement and the vet confirms that his liver levels are lower today than 8 months ago. Which is fantastic news that the supplement actually works to protect his liver!
This new vet and his office staff are fabulous and I feel so comfortable with them. Max goes back Tuesday to get the rest of his vaccines. I love the fact that he sat with me for 30 minutes discussing & explaining core/non core vaccines. It's nice to not have to challenge my vet based upon what I learn on YT
