My sister is 12 years older than me and when she had her knee replacement, she said the hospital had the sweetest Daschund that came to visit each patient. She said she had never really been around a Daschund before and thought they might be a little cold to strangers for some reason but that that was not at all the situation. She lists that as a highlight of her hospital/rehab stay.
