I took 2Bits to the vet today. He really is not doing well. We are now trying to decide what kind of life quality he is having. He is supposed to weigh 70lbs but because his muscles are just wasting away he weighs so much less.
His hips are in very bad shape,popping in and out of place. He did so good for so long,with ageing. In the last week he just seems to be struggling so much more to be himself.
This is the part of life that is so tuff for those of us that must make decisions for our loved ones. I will be talking to all of the kids and seeing if they have peace about what must be done. 2Bits has been a part of our family for so long,he has been the neighborhood doggie that guarded my children while they played and kept me safe when my husband was out of town.
I am not liking today,because now I have to decide when. |
