I already had two other dogs when Belle came to live with us. They are outdoor trained, though, and when she came here in Feb it was too cold and snowy for her to go outside. So, she is pad trained.... and only in the past few months has she been completely reliable (she'll be 1 yr old on Nov 1) I have been trying to get her to go outside, too, and she has picked up on where to go potty outdoors by watching the other two. I would say, start her from square one, like a puppy, since your home will be a new environment for her. You want her to develop good potty habits from the very beginning.
