I've never had anyone say anything negative about Belle when we are out. Usually people ask if they can pet her or tell me that she's so cute.... I have had someone comment on my shih tzu, Ollie, and say how "He's so big for a shih tzu". He's 12lbs - how is that big??? I used to let it bother me, but I KNOW my babies are precious and perfect, and have come to realize that some people have nothing better to do than make negative comments and try to bring other people down. Don't let them get to you - your baby is beautiful - and if they can't see that, then they are blind.
