How old is your pup? I would try videoing it w your cell phone when it happens and then make an appt to take him in to the vet. This could be something harmless like reverse sneezing or more concerning like collapsed trachea or kennel cough. These can be hard to differentiate. If he has an episode that lasts, you need to take him immediately to the vet. Also, check his gums. If the gums are turning blue, he is not getting oxygen and needs to get to a vet ASAP. Collapsed trachea can be something that they live with all their life that you just have to be careful with or it can be a more serious case of it and require surgery. A vet really needs to evaluate. |
