He didn't try to get the shirt off like he always does with normal dog clothes. But, he was so awkward. He was so calm, it was just weird. He wouldn't fetch, which is his favorite activity or kiss us like he usually does. He didn't go anything. He didn't seem to dislike the shirt, but he was so strange. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. Will he get more comfortable in the thundershirt or is this the behavior we should expect??
I think that is supposed to be the reaction. The thunder shirt is to calm them when they are stressed. Like thunder, fireworks, ect. I dont think its meant to keep on all the time for barking, things like that. I would think they would get used to it and it would not work as it should.
Maybe someone who has used it can give more advice but I think it is just mainly for a few hours to get through a storm or something.
I thought I saw on here that people were amazed about how great it worked. I just wish it wasnt so darn expensive.
