All of the sutures are out! She does have one small area that is a bit infected, but it appears to be superficial so I am to apply Bactroban twice daily. She had a chest xray done and her lungs are clear! They did blood work ... will get those results tomorrow.
Summer is getting to be a bit weird with other dogs. Part of it is because she is very attached to me I believe and is possessive...but I am a bit wary of her now with other pups. She growled at a couple of pups at the vet today. She has had a couple of squabbles with a couple of my pups lately. I separate her whenever I leave the house...hate to do it, but better safe than sorry. I need to figure out if it is just possessiveness or if she is just one of those pups that has issues with other pups. It honestly would not surprise me given the nature of her injuries...but I don't want to assume it was her fault.
I have honestly been amazed at her passiveness up until now. |
