I've wondered if it was her also. She is married to a man in the military who is currently deployed - not the father of the baby or the man she currently lives with (hence the different last names in the reports).
This was also the father's first night at a 3rd shift electrician's job, so first night she was home w baby. What mother is not hypervigilant the first night she is alone w baby and husband is working overnight, especially when child is sick. She claims she does not remember locking the door that night.
