Thanks girls. Rachel, I have just over 5 months before the wedding. I was not going to do a big wedding, but none of the grand kids in my family have and my grandparents were so sad. My cousin did a wedding 2 weeks ago finally (their youngest grand child at 24) and they were soo cute and happy to be there. My grandmother has Alzheimer's and it's getting worse. I really want her to remember the wedding and be part of it. Plus I do not want the wedding planning going on for a year. I'm 35 and my fiance is 43, we don't need a year or more engagement, I would like it behind us sooner rather than later.
I'll get through it. We met only 1 DJ and he was fabulous! He was soooo affordable and we booked him on the spot. Now we have a hall, DJ, photographer, dress, rings, favors and centerpiece ideas. I have a florist appt in 2 days and will start invitation work with my friend from work who is going to make our invitations. We have a lot of time to find a bakery for the cupcakes we want so I guess I can settle down a little bit!!!! Thank goodness!!!
