My sister and I were in Mexico a few years ago and picked up some goat cheese in the market. We both speak Spanish, muy poquito
Anyway....we got the cheese back to our condo (it was a very cool condo BTW....it had an open air 2nd floor kitchen overlooking the mountains and sunset! All for $35 a night!).....opened the cheese and spread it on a loaf of crusty bread. Thought it looked different cuz it was rolled in something dark but we are both adventurous.....it was ASH
and it was gritty nasty disgusting! We wasted about half of the roll cutting off all of the damn ash
