well, my problem is that last time we did the pill, and had a terrible time getting them to take it. We tried everything and they still wouldnt have it. We went through two pills per dog in three days. It was a waste and they still didnt get it down them. So, this time I told my vet that they didnt take the pill well and we were out alot of money in three days for two sets, and we tried topical stuff this time and the vet reccomended Frontline plus. Said that was his reccomendation. So,we went with that. But, Im soo disapointed. I dont think its working.... I thought I read on the Frontline site that it was supposed to kill them within 12 hours. 24 hours later we still found life fleas.... Im just aggrivated to have bought this kind only to have it seem to be another waste. What else to do?? When we bought the Fronline he had a deal going on that if we bought a third one we got a fourth one free. So Im just aggrivated to have spent so much on the pill, didnt get it to work couldnt get it down them. Tried the Frontline and bought extra for the deal only to see fleas still 24 hrs later....
Aggrivated. Im still new at being an indoor dog owner but Im learning and trying to do right by my babies as financially possible. Ive never kept them treated everymonth as they dont go outside often and never had a real flea issue but now that they are getting them and Im learning Im trying to do well about treating them. And I certainly dont want a flea problem in the house. Im sooo paranoid about that. But what else is a person to do, everythign is tight on people these days financially and Ive went throug two sets of pills a month ago, and was out money for ear meds and two rounds of Frontline this time and its not working. I guess you expect when you get meds from a vet that they are the best of the best and will work. What else do you do???
