All of my pups and cats has started out in my bed from the beginning. Jackie and Sadie was 12 weeks when I got them. I put them in my bed with my husband and I the day they came home. Not only did they sleep all night, but they never had any accidents in my bed. I now have all 6 of them in bed with me. If they have to potty they will wake me up. At bedtime I say to all of the dogs and cats, "Come on lets go to bed " and all of them get up and walk into the room. I get in bed first and they all get into there spots. That is where they stay until someone has to potty during the night. If at all. The ones that have to, potty the ones that don't, do not move. I have fostered many dogs as well. and I start from day one with allowing them in the bed as well, Never have I had a problem with chewing. I keep my bedroom door closed during the night. I keep water and dry food in the room as well just in case someone gets hungry or thirsty.Thank goodness for king size beds. I do love my time with my fur babies. Good luck with sleeping with your baby, it is the greatest thing in the world.
