 Anal Glands
I'm not sure what to do. Tila went back for her follow-up from when she got the flush and antibiotics applied. She has been on two kinds of antibiotics since then. She finished them all and when we went back to get her rechecked, she still has an infection. The vet thinks that she is immune to the antibiotics she was on, is that possible? And she on now on a different kind of antibiotics and and the vet wants to see her once a week to express her glands and see if that will help. If that does not help she wants to talk about the gland removal. I'm at my wits end, I just don't know why Tila is having such problems with her glands. Is there anything I should be doing or? Is there any info I should be reading before hand if she gets her glands removed? Thank you. |
