Most show breeders contracts that i know of require absolutely that a pup be returned to them or a dog if it is older. REsale is prohibited and under my contract a substantial fine can be sought by me if someone resells or even gives away one of my puppies or dogs.
I do have a few people that have agreements with me as to who gets the dog if something happens to them but I know everyone involved. |
Has anyone tried to enforce a contract like this? I'm just curious about whether courts uphold these contract terms. I can honestly say I'd never give my Teddy back to his breeder.
