Hi Amber, I just started my Rosie on raw yesterday so can't say yet how it will go but she loves it and I am confident that getting her off of kibble will be nothing but good for her.

I am using this Natural Instinct - Home because honestly I am just afraid of the whole bone thing. I have seen lots videos on you tube of little dogs eating them and they do fine. You should go and watch some. Natural instinct has really good ingredients and to me seems to be the best I could find in the UK.

To start off with I think this is a good food that balances everything out for me and keeps me getting elbow deep in everything so to speak. She loves the taste and eats it right up. I am going to add some meaty beef ribs I think to give her the chewing that will help clean her teeth until I am more confident in things like chicken bones.

As for swallowing the wings whole, I have read that the bone in meals you feed should be as big as the dogs head so they can't just swallow it. So for say a Yorkie maybe a chicken leg while a bigger dog should have a leg quarter or breast.

Best of luck!
