If she's already a year old, I would ask about her current routine, food, treats, toys, (and of course medical) etc. Consider how you will feed two vs one (each have their own bowl, etc.) Our experience tells me she should fit well into your routine and how you do things if you are consistent from the time you bring her home. Too, it's good we have two hands... they can both get scratched/pet at the same time

I agree with not overthinking it... you'll know if it's meant to be
