I am not sure how long the surgery itself lasted but we had to drop Callie off at the vet around 8:30am and they said they would call us and tell us what time we could pick her up and I think we picked her up around 4:30pm. They do testing before the spay which takes some time and then they do the surgery and keep them until they wake up from the anastasia and they make sure they are doing ok.
