That doesn't make any sense to me. Yorkies have hair like we do not fur. As with people, it is best to brush dry and to brush before bathing as wet hair is more prone to stretching & breakage than dry, I would assume the same applies to yorkies.
I used minksheen on ZoE since she was a 12 week old puppy.
