I have used Mink sheen on Rosie and Mikki both. Mikki is one year old. I am not sure about how young they can be to use it. I don't remember seeing any problems with using on puppies. I do know you have to be very careful about not getting it in the eye area. I do not use it on my girls face at all. I do use a conditioner. I have used many different ones. The last one was from Isle of Dogs. As far as spray detangler, Yorkie Sheen is a good one. Ice on Ice from Chris Christensen, and Isle of Dogs Number 62. I have not heard that about never brushing the hair dry. But I have also always used a detangler. So, not sure on that one.
