“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” |
Not trying to sound morbid or anything but the day before he died I woke up from a dream where I dreamt that it was the end of the world (apocalypse type scenario) and I don't remember my dream in its entirety but I remember specifically regretting that I didn't accomplish/live the life I wanted.
It takes courage to live your own life or even pursue your dreams--Steve Jobs had the courage to do so and we all are better off because he didn't let anyone stop him. He accomplished in his short life a lot more than many and I am thankful for his legacy and the inspiration that will hopefully arise in all of us.
