I use Millers Forge - just a general cutter. Don't like the guillotene type at all. I don't like the idea of a dremmel either.

My pups pull their feet away, so they get held tighter. I won't pay $10-$15 a month, esp. times 2 just to get nails done, but that's me.

What about trying to go quickly so they don't have to sit still for long? Just tip them until you get used to doing it and are less concerned about going too far (which is not a big deal, btw).
