This is soooo awesome! I went and read the old thread, my guess is he was at the solicitor's home this WHOLE time! esp. if he was just a few blocks from her home when found... as much as it sucks to have gone 4 years without hime, I am at least glad she had the decency to keep him and not sell him off for $$$ at least you know he was probably somewhat loved and looked after.
My worst fear would be someone taking Maci or her getting lost. Sicknesses I can deal with... there's vets for that. But her actually being gone...

And I agree. ALL vets should check new patients for a chip that matches the info given by the "owner" if it doesn't match then they should call the number on the chip to insure that dog is not stolen/lost
