Nope not at all. He eats his reccommened daily amount. But instead of twice a day he eats it once. And besides that he gets plenty of treats through out the day between feedings to hold him over. His bowls are always left out and he never goes by the food bowl wanting more. (Like he tips his water bowl over, when he needs a refill.)
