Our pet store in town doesn't sell Royal Canin and I am not in the city like...ever. Acana is more readily available I find especially in small towns because it is a "local" canadian made food. However I guess I see no problems with RC... it's just pricier, but still a good quality.

I use RC yorkshire terrier and there is no eye drainage. I haven not experienced any eye drainage with my other dog who also is on a RC product. Eye drainage is weird to me, the only place I hear about it is on YT. I clean my dogs' eyes daily with a soft washcloth and there is hardly ever any eye crust or anything like that.
