I'm so very sorry. Love and prayers for the family.

I always have a large bag of xylitol in my kitchen cabinet as I use it for my own sweetener. I have known about the dangers of it for quite some time though due to YT and have told everyone in the house "This bag is mine, do not touch it, use it or ever remove it from the top shelf of the cabinet. The smallest amount spilled on the floor WILL kill the dogs!" It is in it's bag sealed in another bag and stays on the very top shelf where no one touches it but me. It makes me so nervous having it here. We never have the gum in the house but the kids have been told the same thing basically about it so they know how dangerous it is.

Very right, it should absolutely have a warning on it.
