Mine too !
The value of using a "break away" type release can't be denied. But, I'm compelled to prefer a Collar snap which is very difficult to disengage, where the ID/return info can't be removed easily.
My back yard/property has been thoroughly inspected, for areas where one of mine could hang it's collar on a limb or whatever, and when we're out, they are not left alone EVER !
So, I just can't but side with the preference for solid attachment.
