I understand exactly what you mean, it's a bit of a double edged sword!
We had a schnauzer years ago, who would only go in one place - funnily enough on a rug (why?!!?) underneath the coffee table. In the end, I put newspaper down in that place (that's all we had then!) and moved it gradually, day by day, to where we actually wanted him to pee. In our case, it was closer and closer to the back door. It worked for us, and I just thought I'd throw an alternative into the mix! Sally + Harry x
