i think thats what my mother gets. i didnt know it was called nerve root injection but she has been getting steroid injecions in her neck and spine for the past few years. i remember she was afraid when she went to get her first shot. i drove her and waited for her, but she didnt need and premedication. She was very happy with the results, really helped alot. but of course , they only help for so long and then the pain comes back and you cant get those injections too often cause not good for you.
