Max and Teddy have their rituals with me, and rituals with grandpa, and rituals with other people. They also have preferences. Max prefers to walk with me because I go fast and Teddy prefers to walk with grandpa because he gets more sniffing time.
Both of the boys come to me with problems, like hair in the eye or if they are not feeling well. They look to me first for food, but if I say it is not time for a meal, Max will try pleading with grandpa.
