I just had Sadie's hernia operated on and asked the vet about this, and he said he would prefer to do just one procedure. I love my vet, and value his recommendations.

My friends said that anesthesia is extremely hard on a dog's heart. Sadie is due for a cleaning, and now I am a wreck.

What does everyone here do?

Thanks.

I've always had my dog's teeth cleaned to prevent dental abscess once that happened to my first Yorkie - and I brush my dog's teeth daily usually. I have not had problems with it to this point.
