Aggression really should be dealt with in person. You can curb the behavior without understanding why it is happening. It is much better to understand what is triggering the aggression and change that. Often dogs will take the role of rule maker and protector if they think their person is not doing the job.The Pack Leader is supposed to protect and provide for the family (pack). Please read Nothing in Life is Free. Your Yorkie needs to learn aggression is not allowed.Do Not Use A Flexi Leash and carry a spray bottle of Water. 1. On walks if he starts lunging ahead and barking CUE HIM by saying 'NO' Firmly ( you may choose Quiet, Enough or what ever feels natural to say, always use the same word once you decide which one to use) After The word cue, turn around and go the other way. If he tries to go behind you to keep barking, say another firm NO and spay him with the water (set it on stream not mist)the idea is to break his aggressive trance. You may have to retrain your dog about what his job is. A good book, Dog Perfect by Sarah Hodgson. I hope this helps.
