I was reading some posts about what kind of food you feed your yorkies. I recently rescued a 7 year old yorkie and we are trying to get her healthy again. She has under went heartworm treatment and we are almost 1 month out on it, along with scaly skin, worms and many other issues.
I know that a good dog food is important ( allergies, skin , coat etc...) but I read that most were saying that their dogs didn't have runny eyes or tear stains with the food they were feeding.
My question is are you saying that you have never had a problem with runny eyes while on the good dog food or that they have cleared up when changing dog foods.
This is my first dog that has had the tear stain problem and I did not know that It could be helped with a good dog food. Is their anything else that can help with runny eyes?
