Just had my 12 yr.old Poms teeth cleaned & some pulled. They did blood work etc before to make sure it was safe. Her heart is strong & that is a plus. She had had a bad tooth so was on antibotics a few days b/4 so that no bacteria got in blood stream when cleaning was done. and will be on antibotics a few more days now. But is doing great. She was ready for food as soon as she got home. I always worry but I trust my vet as much as I could anyone. He has been so good to my babies. Been using him about 30 years..........
