I'm so sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking to lose a pup, they become part of the family instantly.
I also agree with what the others are saying. Even though it's a wrenching thought to leave your baby at the hospital, and not to have her sleeping by you that night, the outcomes of not doing what's medically best can be even more tragic. I pray that you find comfort in knowing that caring for such a young pup is very hard on a new dog owner, hence the reason it is recommended for pups to go home after 12 weeks.
The best advice I can give is to please stay apart of our community. That way, you can be even more prepared when you decide to add another fur baby to your family. Our resources can even extend to finding you a good breeder that has pups that are healthy and socially adjusted enough to make a wonderful addition to your family.
