I am an idiot! I noticed last night that there wasn't a WHOLE lot of space left on my Macbook.
So I started organizing all my folders, pictures, documents, videos, etc, and deleting the ones that I don't need. Found this cache folder and on some website, it said most of the stuff in there was junk... I went ahead and deleted everything in there. Everything was running okay and stuff, so I figured it was safe to now delete it officially out of the trash bin.
Shut my computer down for the night.... I guess I must have deleted the Firefox 'cache' and I specifically remember for that one, it asked if I wanted to overwrite the current file being used and I said 'yes' and I should have selected no. So basically I lost all my data on my browser... I lost ALL my bookmarks, my saved pages, passwords, all that stuff. UGH!
I have tried googling to find out how I can reverse it but I just can't figure out a way. I tried using 'Time Machine' on my computer but I don't think I ever had it turned on... so unfortunately, it doesn't look like it will work.
Ah, crap. I really hope I did not screw anything else up. |
