Get their shoulders through?? HA, ya sure, all Sprocket needs is to be able to get his head through and he is gone. We tried the very nice baby gate, didn't work, added webbing, didn't work, ground cloth (like outside kind), didn't work, he just can't be trusted NOT to wiggle through. To run, to chase, it's just too much fun. I won't say they can't be trained not to break out, but we sure haven't been able to make it happen. We just work around it. I think the comment "true to the breed" is so right. And then they come back to the fence/gate on the "other" side and side and wait to be let back in with the "who me?" look, you're running around yelling the dogs name the neighbors are looking, you're going crazy, and what do you find, sweetness and light sitting carefully on the outside of the gate. Its no wonder my neighbors think I'm the crazy dog lady LOL
